What we collect

- Details of your pets and their clinical records.
- Appointment, payment and insurance claim details.
- Messages you send us, including through this website or our booking system.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To provide veterinary care and run your account: performance of a contract.
- To keep clinical records and meet our professional and regulatory duties: legal obligation.
- To send reminders about vaccinations, health checks and plan renewals: legitimate interests, and you can opt out at any time.
- To send news or offers: only with your consent.
Who we share it with
We share information only where needed: with laboratories, referral practices and our out-of-hours provider when they care for your pet; with your insurer when you ask us to make a claim; with our booking, payment, IT and microchip database providers, who act on our instructions; and with regulators when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep clinical records for at least as long as professional guidance requires, then delete or anonymise them. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask to move it to another provider. Email privacy@greenfield-example-vets.example. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
